A Structural Insulated Panel combines two structural skins with a rigid insulating core. The result is a strong, energy‑efficient wall/roof system that installs quickly with fewer trades.
Is double brick more durable?
Double brick has a long track record in WA and offers inherent thermal mass and robustness. SIPs deliver different strengths — speed, insulation continuity and airtightness. Both methods are engineered to meet NCC 2022 requirements.
Which is cheaper upfront?

Can both reach 7‑Star NatHERS?
Yes. With good design, orientation and detailing, both SIP & Steel and Double Brick can meet 7‑Star. SIPs make the path easier due to insulation continuity.
What about resale value?
